Little Bit About Us
Founder, Mr. Hemant Ved (above left), under the guidance and direction of Mr. Hassan Habib Sajwani (Centre Above), incorporated Al Maedah in the year 2003. Hemant brings with him over two and a half decades of sales experience in the foodstuff market of UAE and has a passion to serve customers beyond their expectations.
It all began with a humble beginning from a small office located in Freej Murar, Deira, UAE. Within couple of years AMGT had outgrown it’s small office and moved over to Al Ras and made a strong presence in the heart of the central business district of Deira. This strategic move enabled AMGT to not only make foray in new markets and customers but also brought it closer to where the action is. AMGT, now has a much wider and stronger supplier base which inturn allows AMGT to pass down benefits of scale and innovation to it’s own customers. In 2008, AMGT spread it’s footprint and added one more location in Sharjah in the year 2008 to serve it’s warehousing needs.
In 2015, Mr. Jayesh Ved – Managing Director strengthened the management team by bringing with him over two decades of banking experience with a top multi-national bank. Jayesh has always been at the forefront in engaging with customers over the counter. With a penchant for process and system improvements Jayesh is now influencing the way AMGT supports and engages with it’s customers.
